Making and dispatch

Almost everything here is made by hand to order. Nothing is mass-produced and very little sits finished on a shelf.

  • Pieces already in stock — dispatched within 5 days.
  • Made to order — allow up to 3 weeks for making.
  • Complex pieces and rare materials — up to 4 weeks.

You will be told which applies to your order after it is placed. If a piece will take longer than stated, you will hear from us before we start.

Shipping

Shipped worldwide from the Czech Republic, tracked.

  • European Union — €20
  • Rest of world — €45

The rate is chosen at checkout and added to your total. Delivery usually takes 3–10 working days inside the EU and 7–21 elsewhere, after the making time above.

Orders outside the EU may attract import duty or tax on arrival. That is set by your own country and paid by you, not by us. The customs declaration always states the real price paid.

Returning something

If you are in the EU and bought as a consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. Tell us by email or Telegram, send the piece back in the condition it arrived, and we refund what you paid — including the standard shipping we charged you — within 14 days of the piece reaching us. Return postage is yours.

Two things this does not cover, and why. Under § 1837(d) of the Czech Civil Code the withdrawal right does not apply to goods made to your own specification or personalised for you. For URSUUNA that means rings ordered in a chosen EU size, and any commissioned or altered piece. It does not mean everything made after you order it: a standard catalogue piece keeps the full 14-day right even though it is made by hand once ordered.

Faulty or misdescribed work is separate and always covered — the statutory two-year guarantee applies, and we will repair, replace or refund. Handmade pieces carry the marks of being handmade; that is not a fault.

If we cannot agree, you may take the matter to Česká obchodní inspekce at adr.coi.cz, which handles consumer disputes out of court, free of charge.

Mammoth ivory

Two pieces use ancient mammoth ivory recovered from Arctic permafrost. Mammoth is an extinct species and is not covered by CITES, but several countries restrict ivory of any kind on import because it is difficult to distinguish at a border.

If you are ordering one of these from outside the EU, write to us first and we will confirm whether it can be sent to you before you pay.

Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own checkout and never reach this website. Prices are shown in euros; Czech customers are charged in koruna, and Stripe presents other currencies at checkout where it can.

Privacy

The seller named above is the data controller. We collect only what an order needs: your name, email, delivery address and phone number, plus your email if you subscribe to the newsletter.

Payment data is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, which acts as an independent controller; we never see your card number. Newsletter subscriptions are stored with Supabase. The site is served by Vercel, which logs requests for security and performance.

Order records are kept as long as Czech accounting law requires. You may ask for a copy of your data, its correction, or its deletion where no legal duty requires us to keep it — write to studio@ursuuna.com. You may also complain to Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your basket is kept in your own browser’s local storage and is never sent to us until you check out.
