The Sun and The Moon: Art Inspired by the Celestial
The Sun and The Moon — Saatchi Gallery, London, 2026 URSUUNA was presented at Saatchi Gallery as part of The Sun and The Moon, representing Zenith through a contemporary interpretation of Arctic snow goggles. The work was exhibited alongside an ancestral pair of snow goggles from Alaska, dated 200–900 AD — placing objects created more than a thousand years apart in the same space. For URSUUNA, this became a conversation between past and present: showing how an ancient Arctic design, originally created for protection and survival, can continue to evolve through new materials, forms and contemporary craft.
